UI/UX Case Studies

Baby Steps – Fitness app for moms

UI/UX Bootcamp Projekt · 2025

During my UX/UI bootcamp, I developed a project together with a team colleague that, in its early phase, required a high level of collaboration in research, analysis, and initial ideation. From the concept phase onward, I took full ownership of the project and continued it independently. The goal was to develop a digital solution for young mothers who want to become active again, but feel held back by lack of time, mental load, and uncertainty when choosing suitable workouts. My responsibilities included research, synthesis, ideation, user journey mapping, UX concept development, wireframes, interface design as well as the complete creation of the case study. Throughout the process, I used methods such as interviews, pain point analysis, personas, how might we statements, user journeys, sitemaps, user flows and low fidelity wireframes.

Immersive Companion Framework

UI/UX Bootcamp Projekt · 2025

For my capstone project in the UX/UI bootcamp, I developed an independent concept with a clear real-world application. The focus was on presenting a methodologically sound UX process based on a practical scenario. During the research phase, I conducted both quantitative and qualitative research to identify relevant user needs, expectations, and pain points. Based on these insights, I developed an abstracted, exemplary concept that was specifically focused and clearly structured for the capstone project. The complete concept development, execution, and visual implementation were carried out independently. My responsibilities included research, synthesis, persona development, ideation, user journey mapping, UX concept, wireframes as well as the documentation as a case study. Methodologically, I used interviews, surveys, affinity mapping, personas, user journeys, user flows, and low fidelity wireframes.

Waumiau – E-Commerce Web-App Design

UI/UX Bootcamp Projekt · 2025

As part of my UX/UI bootcamp, I worked on an online shop for high quality dog and cat beds. Together with my team colleague, I developed a product configurator prototype that allows users to customize their beds individually. During the concept and design phase, the focus was on a clear information architecture, a smooth user flow, and a consistent visual system. I was responsible for research, analysis, and UI design as well as the initial implementation of the prototype.

Duckling – Produktivitätsapp Redesign

UI/UX Bootcamp Project · 2025

The redesign of Clean as a Duck, a household productivity app, was the focus of a UX/UI bootcamp project. The goal was to make daily organization more intuitive, motivating, and enjoyable. The new concept is called Duckling and expands the existing app with a friendly mascot, a bright blue brand identity, and subtle gamification elements that playfully encourage user engagement. As part of the redesign, I fundamentally reworked the navigation, sharpened the visual hierarchy, and built a small design system with consistent components, states, and reusability. The focus was on creating a light, friendly, and personal user interface that frames household organization not as a chore, but as a positive and rewarding routine.
